ISSUES
Prior to Xenco engagement, the ERP system configuration, Master Data and Work Management processes were inconsistent across the sites. Our client required support to put in place the following:
- (Weekly) Work management processes
- Shutdown management
- Reliability management
- Maintenance performance management
- Master data standard
- Standardised ERP configuration and build
OUR SOLUTION
We worked closely with corporate and site key stakeholders to:
- Develop an understanding of the specific geographical, government and cultural requirements
- Gain a greater understanding of the business requirements from the ERP upgrade
- Review existing documentation
- Develop processes, standards and guidelines to deliver on the requirements
THE RESULT
Effective maintenance processes and master data standards were developed which were rapidly adopted by the working teams. The deliverables included:
- Business requirements documentation
- Process documentation for:
- (Weekly) Work management
- Shutdown management
- Reliability management, including tactics development and defect elimination
- Maintenance performance management, including process step description, process step RACI, Oracle transaction reference
- Master data standards and “Guideline for Use” documents
